How to prepare for your Bridal hair trial
The trial run is such an important date with your glam team. Its is the perfect opportunity to share your vision and ideas, also to ask all the questions and concerns you have. Don't worry, I will answer them all! My job is to make you look and feel your best. I want to be as prepared as possible so you have nothing to worry about the day of the wedding. Here are a few things to bring with you to your trial.
Inspiration Photos
Photos are a great way to understand your vision. You know you have have been looking all over Pinterest and Instagram getting ideas!! Share them with me. Bring me at least three photos of the style that you love. I also want to see three photos of things that you don't love. We can together create something individual and unique to YOU!
Pictures of your Dress
I'm so inspired with all the amazing dresses these days. I don't know how you can decide. Once you do, I would love to see!! The style of the dress gives me a pretty good idea of the overall vibe and what parts we want to show off!
Accessories
I'm a huge fan of the accessories. They can really make a dramatic difference. If you have chosen to use pins, combs, flowers or a veil, bring them with you so we can place them and make sure they are perfect. If you are unsure, bring photos of inspiration.
Come with clean, dry hair
Getting to know your unique texture will have a lot to do with how I prep your hair. Come with clean, dry hair with a little product in it. I will have all the tools and products to do what we need. If your hair is naturally curly and you want to wear it natural at the wedding, come with your hair how you would normally style it.
Make plans for after
It is a good idea to plan to do something fun after the trial. I even suggest to try to do it for engagement photos or a girls' night out. It gives you time to wear the look and make sure it lasts the way you want it to the day of the wedding. That way, if we need to make adjustments we will have plenty of time to plan for it.
